The weekend starts early down at (what's this week been affectionately called) "Burnley's nicest beer garden" and we are once again playing our old mates from Rishton. Twice! Here's wogwarn this weekend...
Thursday - England vs Belgium
England vs Belgium is on in the bar on Thursday evening. Get yourself off early from work, go home to pick up the dog and the kids, and get down the club from 6pm for £2.50 pints until England score.
Friday - T20 Party Vibes
The final T20 group game is happening on Friday night, at six o'clock. After winning their first four matches, the lads are looking to make it a whitewash of the group against second-placed Rishton. A loss would see us finish joint top of the group - so it promises to be a tasty affair.
Speaking of which, Fiona and Dan will be putting on another amazing BBQ, whilst resident mixologist, Young Tommo, will be manning the Gin and Prosecco bar.
Busy doing mixing of an entirely different variety will be Baz Trip, aka 'DJ Triple Knowledge', who will be on the 1s-and-2s throughout the match.
Saturday - Free Cricket and some Top, Top World Cup Action
Finally, on Saturday, Aidan Tate's Band of Merry 2nd XI Men host - you guessed it - Rishton in the Lancashire League. It's been a strong campaign so far for the 2s and with the weather set fair, it promises to be another great game against an all-action Briggsy and Co.
Oh, there's also the small matter of France vs Argentina at 3pm and Urguguay vs Portugal at 7pm on in the bar. Happy hour drinks prices all night once the 2nds finish too. Gulp.
